Spring Break 2008

The family made it through Spring Break again. With our impending move at work I thought I'd take advantage of the time and take a day off since I may not get another one for a month or so.

Friday morning I went down and rented a rototiller and cleaned up the garden. We then went down to Cook's nursery and bought some veggies and flowers for the garden and yard. We have to wait a couple of weeks before planting since there is still a pending freeze.

That afternoon we went to "Horton Hears a Who" with the kids. That was fun and the kids had a blast.

Saturday I got up and fixed a couple of problems with the fence. It's only taken me like two years to get around to it. :0

That afternoon I was hankering for some Dutch Oven cooking. (I think that's a certain friend's fault. He was at a big DO convention this weekend. :) ) Mmmm, good stuff. We made DO potatoes and crumble apple cobbler. Can't wait to do more this year!
